How the Man Became Legend 

My time in Iraq gave me a chance to experience what a change in environment could do for my overall health and it gave me enough down time to let it sink in. I had access to quality food and I started teaching strength training to a fellow soldier.

When I returned I transferred that energy by doing handyman projects on my own house and rescuing dogs. I finished my degree and began to help others with their home projects.

I later mentored and fostered teens and preteens. I learned that it started within and I began a lifelong endeavor to learn as much healing modalities as I could. learned an amazing parenting technique by the late Karen Purvis called TBRI Trust Based Relational Intervention. It was during this time my idea for Barefoot Mountain began. I would acquire land and start an intentional community of healing. Using the power of horses, homesteading, mother nature, and safe healing people.

I read and implemented Organization using Mari Kondo’s method The Kon Mari Method. I have done homes, attics, garages, and shops, both in person and remotely.

I read Marshall Rosenburgs book Non Violent Communication and then when on over a years worth of Non- Violent Communication based life coaching.

I went on to learn Huglekuture urban gardening, and found my love of fixing things and tinkering. That got me a job installing a model train in Utah. This job challenged me outside of my comfort zone and a learned a lot. I managed the other employees when the boss was gone.

When that job was complete, I went on to study and pass the requirements for both my CDL and general contractors exam.
